The Evaluation Toolkit - A Work in Progress The Benton Foundation and EDC's Center for Children and Technology (CCT) have been funded by the Joyce Foundation to conduct a series of studies about the E-Rate, a federally-managed program that provides significant discounts on telecommunications technologies to schools and libraries in the United States. Specifically, Benton and CCT have been studying the impact of the E-Rate on U.S. districts and schools. In the second phase of work, the Benton Foundation and CCT have continued to investigate the E-Rate while developing new tools to assist teachers, administrators, and policymakers in meeting some of the challenges discovered in the first phase of research. The Evaluation Toolkit presented here is part of this second phase of work, and is a work-in-progress. |
