Eric Helmuth leads teams in building and managing online therapeutic interventions and digital communications campaigns for mental health issues. He brings extensive expertise in project management, e-learning/digital learning, behavioral health, substance abuse prevention, mental health, issues faced by veterans, nonprofit organizations, and public service.

Helmuth leads and advises a wide range of integrated digital programs that use websites, apps, digital advertising, email marketing, and social media to find, engage, and educate diverse online audiences. He is the project director for Women Vets On Point and VetChange, programs that address the mental health of female veterans and veterans with co-occurring alcohol and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) concerns.

Previously, Helmuth collaborated with researchers at the National Center for PTSD at the VA Boston Healthcare System and served as a digital communications and technology consultant for community-based organizations, political campaigns, and scientists. In his long-time position at Boston University School of Public Health, he led the digital communications team for a national addictions policy program.

Helmuth holds an MA in Counseling Psychology from the University of Akron.
