Joseph Aubele is a researcher specializing in advanced quantitative analyses and quasi-experimental designs. His research interests include reading and writing processes and misinformation. Currently, he is advancing REL Northeast & Islands at EDC projects focused on alternative pathways to college and increasing early learning outcomes through play.
Aubele has published in peer-reviewed journals, including the Peabody Journal of Education and Child Development and is the co-author of a book chapter on the impact of misinformation in education. He regularly presents at professional conferences, including the Society of Text and Discourse Annual Conference.
Aubele holds an MA in Education from the University of California (UC), Irvine, and a BA in Psychology from Arizona State University. He is a 2023 doctoral candidate in education at UC Irvine.
