Judith Oki designs and implements activities to build the skills, processes, and relationships needed by individuals and organizations to achieve results for families and communities. She has expertise in capacity and performance assessment, analysis, and responsive planning, including staff and team development practices. She co-leads EDC’s Local Capacity Development Initiative and provides support to EDC’s local capacity development and systems-strengthening work in settings as diverse as Liberia, Botswana, and Guyana. She is noted for her work with local project and client staff and for her attention to community engagement, the institutionalization of key practices, and the sustainability of valued project results.
Oki holds an MEd in Secondary Mathematics from Texas Southern University and has completed additional training in organizational development, training design, community schools, and nonprofit management.
