Leslie Cuellar is an education research, evaluation, and project management professional with more than a decade of experience in the United States, Chile, and Spain. She is a research associate based in EDC’s New York office, where her work focuses on early STEM learning—particularly science and computational thinking—in informal and formal education settings. Her main research areas of interest include teacher education and professional development, information and communication technologies, and the influence of these on student learning, particularly English language learners and minority groups. She is knowledgeable in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Cuellar holds a Master of Arts in International Educational Development, with a specialization in International Policy and Planning, from Teachers College, Columbia University. She is fluent in Spanish.
