Maureen Iselin serves as associate director of communications for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) housed at EDC. In this role, she leads the Action Alliance’s digital marketing efforts—including managing its website, social media channels, and email marketing—and media relations work. She also helps lead the Action Alliance’s changing the conversation priority area, which seeks to change the national narrative about suicide to one of hope and help-seeking.

In addition to her expertise in digital marketing, media relations, strategic communications, and internal communications, Iselin brings strong project management skills to her role. She oversaw the Action Alliance’s 10th anniversary activities, leading the development of website pages, an online timeline, and a virtual press event. She also serves as EDC’s representative on the editorial board of Lemonada Media’s podcast series, New Day, and is managing the development of a 988 messaging framework for the suicide prevention and mental health fields (April 2022 release).

Iselin holds a BA in Communication Studies from Christopher Newport University and is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional.
