Megan Vlaming, an EDC senior training and technical assistance (TTA) associate and regional TA liaison, is an expert in child and family development, out-of-school time practices, and nonprofit development. She has over 20 years of experience in providing training and consultation to strengthen partnerships and improve early care and education and out-of-school time services; organizational development; and program quality and evaluation.

Vlaming provides TTA on program quality and access, health and safety, professional development, trends, and funding for the National Center for Afterschool and Summer Enrichment.

Vlaming has been a national consultant, trainer, and coach focused on supporting the growth and development of out-of-school time professionals and programs. She has also overseen the implementation and usage of state and federal funds supporting early care and education, out-of-school time, and community support programs designed to address the specific needs of states.

Vlaming holds an MS in Social and Community Services from American Military University and a BA in Child and Family Development from American Military University. She is certified in communication and coaching.
