Kate Teague is a highly skilled training and technical assistance (T/TA) associate with over 14 years of experience in early childhood home visiting. Her work spans national, state, and local early childhood home visiting initiatives. She brings deep expertise in program and project management, performance measurement and data use, and continuous quality improvement (CQI).

As a TA specialist for the Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Technical Assistance Resource Center (TARC), Kate supports awardees in building capacity to use data for evidence-informed decision making and improved outcomes. Previously, she served as an implementation TA specialist for the MIECHV Innovation TA Center, where she supported awardees in planning and implementing their home visiting innovation projects.

Prior to joining EDC, Teague led CQI and performance reporting for Georgia’s MIECHV program. In this role, she provided leadership, training, and support on CQI initiatives across the Georgia Home Visiting Network. She specialized in facilitating improvement projects focused on caregiver-child interaction and maternal depression screening and response. Additionally, she facilitated data management and analysis for all performance measurement activities.

Teague holds a BA in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and she completed the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s (IHI’s) Breakthrough Series College. She is also a certified trainer for the Mothers and Babies curriculum.
