Europe
EDC’s work unlocks economic opportunities for youth across Europe, preparing them to succeed in today’s global economy.

Overview
Partnering across Europe, EDC creates impactful programs that equip young people with scientific literacy, tech, entrepreneurial, and business skills, fostering adaptability and resilience to thrive in a rapidly changing workforce.
EDC’s work spans many European countries, including supporting internet start-ups in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing seed funding for small businesses in Kosovo, and advancing STEM education in secondary schools through initiatives such as the Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE). In over 40 European countries, we support scientific literacy and citizen science. In Macedonia, the USAID-funded Youth Employability Skills (YES) Network ensures students’ skills align with job market demands.
