Danielle Montaquila, EDC Training and Technical Assistance Associate II, has over 20 years of experience in early childhood education. She specializes in engaging teachers in coaching, professional learning, and technical assistance that support reflective practice, continuous growth, and high-quality, inclusive learning experiences for every child. She believes that strong relationships are the foundation of great teaching.

Danielle brings extensive expertise in providing impactful in-person and virtual adult learning to her role as a professional development facilitator for our Center for Early Learning Professionals in Rhode Island. She contributes to training aligned with the Rhode Island Early Learning and Development Standards (RIELDS) and early childhood best practices, and collaborates with educators and state partners to support program quality and professional growth.

Prior to joining EDC, Danielle owned and directed an early childhood center, taught in public and private schools, and served as an adjunct professor in special education. She is a member of the Rhode Island Department of Education Curriculum Review Team.

Danielle holds a CGS in Early Childhood Leadership and a BS in Early Childhood and Special Education from Rhode Island College, where she is currently completing an MEd.
