Priscila Giamassi is an EDC training and technical assistance (TA) associate and Certified Preventionist. Her work focuses on prevention workforce development, mental health promotion, and substance use disorder prevention. She brings strong project management, capacity-building, group facilitation, training design and delivery, and business development skills.

Priscila is the Southeast regional training and TA associate for EDC’s Strategic Prevention TA Center. She works with grantees to strengthen prevention systems, implement the Strategic Prevention Framework and apply evidence-based and data-informed practices. Her work includes supporting capacity building, sustainability planning, prevention workforce development, and practical strategies that help communities advance their prevention goals.

Priscila also contributes to EDC’s work with the Northeast & Caribbean Prevention Technology Transfer Center, supporting training and technical assistance efforts that strengthen prevention capacity across communities in the region. An experienced and engaging online learning facilitator, she recently co-presented the national webinars “Not OK: Rethinking Youth Wellbeing” and “Joy In Prevention: How Do We Make the Healthy Choice the Fun Choice.”

Priscila holds an MS in Project Management from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and a BS in Business from Universidade Nove de Julho. She is fluent in Portuguese and English.
