Branden Leyva, EDC financial manager, is a results-driven fiscal professional with specialization in advanced financial analysis. His innovative financial models, in-depth forecasts, and insightful reports help inform and guide strategic planning.

As a member of the finance team, Branden supports EDC leaders’ and project leaders’ use of data to inform strategic planning and business development. He has a key role in analyzing the financial landscape, developing proposals, and ensuring adherence to funder and organizational protocols.

Before joining EDC, Branden was a sponsored programs analyst and a contracts and grant analyst at the University of Miami where he worked closely in starting up and managing the finances of clinical trials.

Branden holds a BS in Health Service Administration from the Florida International University and completed the Professional Scrum Master I certification. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
