Lauren Jones Forbes is an experienced relationship manager who specializes in sustaining strong private-public collaborations, overseeing effective workflow systems, and conducting effective outreach and engagement. A licensed certified social worker, she brings expertise in and dedication to promoting mental health and fostering well-being.

As the partnership systems associate for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention, Forbes manages and optimizes partnership databases, ensuring seamless integration with related systems, promoting operational efficiency, and fostering strong collaborations across private and public sectors. She also plays a vital role in facilitating high-profile partner convenings and ensuring the effective use of CRM tools and project management systems.

Prior to joining EDC, Forbes worked for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute—where she implemented communication protocols for the timekeeping system, improving processes by 79%—the Boston Medical Center, community-based organizations, nonprofits, and schools. She has a wealth of experience as a former mental health clinician, social skills counselor, and client experience specialist.

Forbes holds an MSW from Boston University and a BA in Sociology from College of the Holy Cross.
