Work-based learning (WBL) is a promising approach to fostering students’ career readiness. However, the current lack of data on WBL prevents educators and researchers from knowing what, if any, contribution WBL makes to student outcomes. This report presents a study of successful practices and innovations in six districts’ WBL data collection systems and use of data, as well as suggesting possible improvements.
