Principals' Time, Tasks, and Professional Development: An Analysis of Schools and Staffing Survey Data

This study examines how public school principals allocate their time to various job-related tasks and investigates the types of professional development they attend. Findings can be used to make decisions about principal training and other supports needed to meet the demands of the position.
