Support to small businesses (including small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, small service-disabled veteran owned, and small HubZone firms) is the foundation for continued economic growth for our country, and EDC is committed to ensuring that small businesses participate in our government funded subcontracting opportunities.
We aim to find the best providers and we award subcontracts only to small businesses that have the capability to fulfill all aspects of a subcontract including price, technical capabilities, and delivery of services.
Except for the HubZone category, which must be formally certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration, small business subcontractors may self-certify, and no third-party certification is required. To see more information on how a “small business” is defined, please go to https://www.sba.gov/federal-contracting/contracting-guide/size-standards.
Current Requests for Quotes/Proposals (RFQ/RFPs) can be found on the Small Business Administration SUBNET site https://subnet.sba.gov/client/dsp_Landing.cfm. Please let us know if you are having difficulty accessing the site by emailing Procurement_help@edc.org.
