SSTEP is a three-year program of the Republic of South Sudan Ministry of General Education and Instruction, supported by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The program will help the Ministry of General Education and Instruction to: set policies and management systems for basic education; revise the unified curriculum and refine standards to improve teacher performance; strengthen teacher support systems; improve gender equity in the education system; improve English language skills; and provide training and learning resources.
