Rosemarie Brian is a seasoned financial leader with over 30 years of expertise in nonprofit and corporate finance, both in the United States and internationally. With a proven track record of turning financial complexity into financial clarity , Rosemarie is passionate about using finance as a tool for impact—strengthening organizations, empowering people, and creating sustainable pathways for growth.
Currently, Rosemarie serves as EDC’s deputy chief financial officer and treasurer. In this capacity, she partners closely with senior leadership and the Board of Trustees to guide financial strategy, oversee treasury and compliance functions, and ensure organizational resilience during times of transformation.
Recognized as a strategic business partner and change agent, Rosemarie previously led large-scale financial planning, organizational restructuring, and investment management, navigating budgets from $90M to $200M while strengthening fiscal stewardship. Her leadership style emphasizes transparency, collaboration, and accountability, empowering cross-functional teams to align resources with mission-driven goals.
Rosemarie holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of the West Indies and an MBA in International Monetary Economics and Advanced Corporate Finance from the Mona School of Business.
