
Amanda Emsais
Amanda Emsais, EDC research associate, has expertise in research, data collection and analysis, and dissemination. She is also highly skilled in the effective oversight of performance measurement, continuous quality improvement, and data tracking systems.
Emsais advances the goals of complex training and technical assistance initiatives and plays a key role on study teams—including RCTs—through data collection and management, instrument development, and quantitative and qualitative analysis. Recently, she conducted research on the impact of multimedia resources on young children’s learning and co-authored a report.
Before joining EDC, Amanda developed and worked on university laboratory research regarding the effects of music therapy for people admitted to drug rehabilitation centers and emotional processing in people with autism spectrum disorder.
Emsais holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine and has completed the University of Michigan ICPSR Intensive Summer program in quantitative methods, statistics and data analysis. She is fluent in English and proficient in Arabic.
