Amanda Pliszak
Amanda Pliszak is an EDC International Project Coordinator for Business Development (BD). She facilitates global BD efforts through proposal coordination, process management, and operational support. In this role, she supports proposal teams, manages partnership development and inputs, and maintains key BD systems.
Amanda advances research and capture, proposal writing, and administrative processes to help ensure organized, responsive, and high-quality submissions. She assists with tracking key BD targets and processes and manages event coordination related to proposal design and strategic planning. Her expertise is focused on the intersection of environment in education and workforce development, supporting BD related to green skills and climate adaptation to help expand EDC’s portfolio and impact. Previously, she served as an Administrative Coordinator with EDC’s Zero Suicide Institute, where she supported training coordination, online event production, and data processes.
Amanda holds an MA in Global Environmental Policy and a BA in International Relations focusing on Environment and Development in Latin America from Boston University’s Pardee School of Global Studies.
