Amy Deal manages and provides technical assistance to comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) and alternative learning programs. She has expertise working with national governments and field staff on curriculum development and training for CSE and adapting curriculum to include safer learning environment topics. Her expertise also includes managing project deliverables, timelines, reporting, and budgets for medium- to large-scale federal and corporate grants and contracts.
Deal has supported EDC’s USAID-funded work in South Africa, Liberia, and the Education in Conflict and Crisis Network (ECCN), as well as, a Hewlett Packard-funded e-Learning platform for entrepreneurs and a Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts e-Learning program.
Deal holds a BA and MA in Sociology, with a focus on community and economic development.
