April Brown, EDC project associate, brings over 25 years of experience providing advanced business support to corporations and nonprofits focused on health, education, and development. She specializes in event management, system design and improvement, and vendor/subcontractor management.

As Operations Lead, April supports the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Technical Assistance (TA) Resource Center, which works to improve services for families nationwide. She plays key roles in planning and facilitating virtual learning events and overseeing operations for the MIECHV TARC. In addition, she serves as an event management advisor for other EDC maternal and child health initiatives. Previously, she advanced the goals of the MIECHV Innovation TA Center.   

Before joining EDC, April provided marketing, business development, and business systems support to a large nonprofit physician-led health care organization. As a community volunteer, she has served on several boards.

April holds a BA in English from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
