Burt Granofsky is an EDC senior multimedia producer, strategic communications specialist, curriculum developer, and learning facilitator. Working closely with EDC teams, he develops compelling and informative social marketing and instructional products. His expertise includes journalistic interviews, story mining, and product development.

Granofsky is a professional photographer and a published author. For 20 years, his images have brought EDC’s work to life, fueling visual storytelling that captures EDC’s reach and impacts. His print and digital publications include case studies, journal and magazine articles, project success stories, podcasts, videos, toolkits, briefs, curricula, guides, and reports.

Previously, Granofsky served as senior writer and managing editor for EDC’s Office of Communications and the U.S. division. In this role, he produced hundreds of narrative articles for EDC.org, was the host and producer of Mosaic, EDC’s podcast series, and produced podcasts for projects. He began his career at EDC as a curriculum development specialist and trainer for innovative online learning experiences.

Granofsky has an MEd from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Political Science from Haverford College.
