Carrie Stout is an international project coordinator for EDC who brings 16 years of experience in international education, early reading instruction, curriculum design, and project management.
Stout is currently supporting EDC’s LTLGP Project, working specifically with the Global Reading Network, and she plays a key role in network engagement, management, and procurement.
Prior to working for EDC, Stout was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Zambia and an international teacher in Haiti and Mali; she also worked for a nonprofit organization.
Stout holds a BA in International Relations with a focus on Development and Africa and a minor in Economics from American University. She also holds an MAT from The College of New Jersey in Elementary Education. She is proficient in Spanish and French.
