Georgia Bock provides research, coaching, and technical assistance to the REL Northeast & Islands at EDC. Her research interests include teacher preparation and evaluation policies as well as strategies for improving school climate. She is particularly interested in strategies that reduce exclusionary discipline practices. She has experience working with stakeholders designing and implementing climate and safety initiatives at a large urban school district.

Bock has a strong background in quantitative analysis. As part of her master’s practicum, she compiled and analyzed several large, publicly available data sets to investigate characteristics of the student populations in districts served by the Delaware Valley Consortium for Excellence and Equity.

Georgia holds an MSEd in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
