Ivo Dimitrov is the International Development Division’s (IDD’s) senior director of finance and is responsible for leading the annual planning and budgeting for IDD’s portfolio, which totals about $100 million in annual revenue. Other responsibilities include forecasting and monitoring the division’s utilization of G&A and unrestricted funds and managing a team of six U.S.-based finance managers. He is experienced with managing cooperative agreements, IDIQs, cost-plus-fixed-fee contracts, as well as time and materials (including GSA) contracts.

Before joining EDC, Dimitrov worked at FHI 360’s Global Education Department for 10 years and at RTI International prior to that. He has also worked closely with clients including USAID, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Foreign, Commerce and Development Office (FCDO), and UNICEF.

Dimitrov holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Sofia, Bulgaria. He is fluent in English and Bulgarian and has general proficiency in German.
