Jamie Bertolis (she/her) is a multi-faceted communications and marketing expert. She has 15 years of experience driving significant results through industry and nonprofit advertising and marketing campaigns, strategic messaging, branding, media relations, fundraising, and special events.
Bertolis is the assistant director of communications for the National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance) housed at EDC. In collaboration with the Action Alliance’s director of communications and team and over 250 national partners, she uses multi-channel tactics to advance the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention.
Before joining EDC, Bertolis led the communications and marketing strategy for 31 Community Partnership Schools at Children’s Home Society of Florida. Previously, she worked in merchandising and sports marketing with the Miami Dolphins, United States Polo Association Global Licensing, Inc., and ESPN West Palm. She began her career in the fashion industry, concentrating on fashion show production, brand marketing, and event management in South Florida.
Bertolis holds a BS in Fashion Marketing and Merchandising from The Art Institutes and is working toward her MA in Strategic Communications at the University of Iowa.
