Jennifer Zawislak brings over 15 years of experience supporting children, families, and communities through Tribal home visiting, child welfare, workforce development, systems improvement, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. She is particularly passionate about helping projects and programs navigate change, strengthen leadership, and create sustainable improvements through collaborative, relationship-centered approaches.

Jennifer is a Technical Assistance Specialist for the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting Technical Assistance Resource Center and Institute for Home Visiting Workforce Development. Outside of her professional work, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), advocating for children in foster care.

Prior to joining EDC, Jennifer served as a Senior Technical Assistance Specialist with ZERO TO THREE’s Tribal Home Visiting Resource Institute for Excellence (THRIVE), where she provided implementation support to Tribal MIECHV awardees nationwide. Earlier in her career, she served as a Children’s Protective Services Specialist and Social Services Program Coordinator Program Coordinator for the State of Alaska.

As a Steering Committee Member, Jennifer played a key role in planning the 2020 National Home Visiting Summit.

Jennifer holds MA degrees in Leadership and Organizational Studies from Azusa Pacific University and Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary.
