Jessica Juliuson, an expert in career readiness, cultivates partnerships among schools, communities, and industry to ensure youth are ready for the workforce. She leads innovative initiatives that strengthen career and technical education and K-12 education through work-based learning, career exploration, teacher development, and continuous improvement.

Juliuson leads EDC’s Supporting Readiness through Vital Civic Empowerment project, a high school program that blends exploration of public service careers, civic education, and media literacy education. As a director for the Amgen Biotech Experience Program Office, she oversees a comprehensive initiative to improve science education. Recently, she collaborated on an online curriculum guide for the Next Generation in Trucking curriculum.

Juliuson facilitates the Career Academy Leaders’ Collaborative in partnership with the National Career Academy Coalition, and she was a key member of EDC’s Ford Next Generation Learning team. She has published papers on the future of work for high school students and K–8 students, teacher development, and bridging school and work.

Juliuson holds an MA in Teaching from the University of New Hampshire and a BA in History from Hamilton College.
