June Mark, an expert in mathematics and computer science (CS) education, is dedicated to ensuring all students receive high-quality mathematics and CS learning that prepares them for college and careers. Her innovative educational research and development (R&D) supports teachers in removing obstacles to STEM learning for students from groups that are underrepresented in the STEM workforce. She brings deep expertise in instructional design, professional development, and systems change to her R&D work.

Mark co-authored Transition to Algebra and Making Sense of Algebra, and co-designed an award-winning app (SolveMe Mobiles). With her colleagues, she leads a body of work focused on improving mathematics learning and broadening student participation in CS education.

In addition, Mark leads the Equitable Computer Science Implementation in All NYC Schools initiative and co-leads the Supporting Students in Algebra study and Math+C and Think Math+C initiatives. She is senior adviser/staff on the NYC CS4All Initiative Evaluation.

Mark holds a BS in Mathematics and BSE in Decision Sciences from the University of Pennsylvania and an EdM from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
