Melissa Lin
Melissa Lin, EDC project director, brings extensive expertise in product development, communications, on-site and virtual event management, and efficient program operations. She is especially interested in fostering community learning, encouraging curiosity and creativity, and helping to create collaborative spaces where individuals can learn and grow.
Since 2009, Melissa has contributed to school leadership projects and initiatives through the Quality Measures™ Center (QM Center). As a project director on the QM Center, she coordinates the complex communications and logistics needed to bring principal preparation providers, school leaders, district staff, and state education agency leaders together to learn in a collaborative setting. She helps teams translate their creative ideas and visions into effective products, services, systems, and operations.
Melissa also serves as webinar coordinator for the National Center for Health, Behavioral Health, and Safety. Prior to joining EDC, Melissa held communications and development/fundraising positions in several nonprofits, including in the visual and performing arts.
Melissa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the University of Connecticut. She received a PMD Pro Certification for project manager from APMG International.
