Michelle Lanier, EDC training and technical assistance (TTA) associate, has over 12 years of experience in technical assistance, training, performance monitoring, and quality assurance for home visiting programs. She brings extensive expertise in family engagement, intimate partner violence, and strengths-based practices, including motivational interviewing. A certified addictions professional, she has over 15 years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy for children and adults impacted by substance misuse.

As a key member of EDC’s Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Technical Assistance Resource Center team, Lanier provides TTA that builds awardees’ capacity to deliver high-quality home visiting services. Before EDC, she served as the Georgia MIECHV’s TTA team director. In this capacity, she directed a team of training and TA providers and oversaw all data, performance monitoring, and continuous quality improvement efforts.

Lanier holds an MS in Public Health-Social and Behavioral Sciences from the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health and a BA in Anthropology from New College of Florida. She is fluent in English and proficient in Spanish.
