Nancy Devine, senior technical advisor, serves as a board member of EDC Senegal, a standalone nonprofit organization with a partnership agreement with EDC. She has more than 30 years of experience in leadership positions with nonprofit organizations, working in education and youth development in the United States and Africa. Devine led EDC’s portfolio of international work in the fields of education; youth and workforce development; crisis, conflict, and violence; and health in over 30 countries, spanning Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.

Grounded in experiences from more than 10 years of living in West Africa, Devine brings field-driven solutions to EDC’s programming and point of view. Her area of technical expertise during her career has been to reinforce the capacity and engagement of civil society in education and youth programs.

Devine holds a BA in History from Duke University and speaks French.
