Drewallyn Riley, public health specialist and EDC senior training and technical assistance (TA) associate, brings over 15 years of experience providing continuous quality improvement (CQI) coaching and TA on public health interventions in the United States and Sub-Saharan Africa. She has expertise in early childhood home visiting; workforce recruitment, retention, and well-being; and youth health education.

As a data/CQI TA specialist, Riley provides TA and coaching through EDC’s MIECHV Technical Assistance Resource Center. For the Institute for Home Visiting Workforce Development and Jackie Walorski Center for Evidence-Based Case Management, she designs and delivers high-quality TA that helps home visiting programs develop, implement, and evaluate processes to strengthen workforce development.

Previously, Riley was the co-director of the Suicide Care Collaborative Improvement and Innovation Network (CoIIN) through EDC’s Zero Suicide Institute and a faculty chair of the Home Visiting CoIIN on Staff Recruitment and Retention. She also served as an adolescent health TA specialist for USAID-funded projects in Liberia and South Sudan.

Riley holds an MPH from the University of Michigan and a BA from Carleton College.
