A National Snapshot of State-Level Collaboration for Early Care and Education
In this research brief, the authors present findings from an online national survey of Child Care and Development Fund administrators, Head Start State Collaboration Office Directors, and State Departments of Education Early Childhood Specialists. The brief describes co-location of early care and education agencies, as well as state leaders’ perceptions of communication, relationships, and collaborative interactions between early care and education agencies. EDC conducted the Child Care Collaboration Study with funding from the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation, Administration for Children and Families, under a grant from the Child Care Research Partnership program.
