Women Veterans in STEM White Paper Series

EDC’s Women Veterans in STEM team collaborated with their advisory board to develop this series of white papers. The five papers provide an overview of women veterans’ needs. They focus on strategies to support women veterans’ health and well-being, success in the STEM workforce, completion of STEM education, and transition to civilian life.

This website includes six lessons that build students’ data literacy through deep dives into real-world science problems using authentic datasets. Students use digital supports as they analyze data to answer questions, debate their interpretations, take notes, and write arguments supported by evidence. The website also provides supportive resources for teachers.
