Ben Chauncey, senior finance director for EDC’s U.S. Division, brings 14 years of experience as a nonprofit fiscal leader. He guides and oversees a large team that proactively addresses the fiscal operations and development needs of over 300 researchers, instructional designers, and technical assistance specialists. Drawing on his extensive expertise in financial analysis, business metrics, and nonprofit management, he designs and oversees systems that ensure the efficiency and success of program and proposal teams.
Chauncey is a member of the division’s leadership and management teams and EDC’s knowledge management team. He advises on organizational and divisional strategy and works closely with the division director to maintain a solid fiscal infrastructure. He also advances company-wide goals to systematize data-driven decision-making.
Earlier in Chauncey’s career at EDC, he conducted quantitative and qualitative research on early education partnerships. He is the co-author of an article published in the International Journal of Economic Development and several reports.
Chauncey completed graduate work in Biostatistics at Harvard University, where he also received an AB in Biology with electives in Psychology and Economics.
