Nevin Katz, a senior technology associate and experienced instructional designer, provides technical leadership to education and communication initiatives. He brings expertise in Web and app development, data visualization, Web animation, and teacher professional development.
Katz matches projects with effective technology solutions and helps teams create interactive learning experiences that engage and inform target audiences. His projects have included developing the Health Moments: Preventing Illness iOS app for Head Start home visitors; HP Life, which provides free business and IT skills training; and Exploring Infectious Diseases.
Katz is coordinating the development of an 18-website system for the Amgen Biotech Experience program sites worldwide. He helped develop online art history courses with Crystal Bridges and an online course on continuous quality improvement for home visitors. Katz is currently developing an app authoring system for various EDC projects, including the Let’s Read project in Zambia.
Katz holds an EdM in Teaching and Curriculum from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, a Software Engineering Certificate from the Harvard University Extension School, and a BA in Biology from Swarthmore College.
