Rachael Glisson, a highly skilled technical assistance associate, brings extensive experience in public health and home visiting. She has expertise in capacity building, performance data collection, measurement, data use, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement (CQI).
Glisson is a technical assistance specialist and CQI workstream lead for EDC’s Maternal Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Technical Assistance Resource Center. For EDC’s Home Visiting Collaborative Improvement and Innovation Network, she guides teams in using the breakthrough series model to test and achieve improvements in maternal and child health outcomes. She is an improvement advisor on maternal depression and intimate partner violence and co-authored an EDC brief on parent-child interactions.
Previously, as a member of Georgia’s MIECHV team, Glisson advanced the quality improvement efforts of local implementing agencies, resulting in improved outcomes in maternal and child health indicators. In addition, she facilitated data management and analysis for all performance measurement activities.
Glisson holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Georgia and completed the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Breakthrough Series College in 2019.
