Ginger Fitzhugh leads evaluations that help programs achieve better STEM learning outcomes for young people from underserved and underrepresented populations. An expert in innovative and effective dissemination methods such as data visualization, Fitzhugh specializes in sharing evaluation findings in clear and compelling ways to support usage.
Drawing on her extensive experience in mixed methods and participatory program evaluation, Fitzhugh advances knowledge of promising strategies to strengthen informal and formal STEM education and improve outcomes for youth. She also brings expertise in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods, including multivariate analysis, logic model development, and systems thinking principles.
Fitzhugh is leading evaluations of NASA@ My Library, STAR Library Network, and a multi-state initiative to support STEM equity at key transition points, including middle school to high school. Recently, she concluded an evaluation of the scale-up of an afterschool program for middle school girls (Techbridge Girls) to two new cities.
She holds a BA in Psychology from Swarthmore College, obtained an MM in Nonprofit Management from Brandeis University, and completed PhD coursework at Brandeis University.
