Ruthann Froberg, a research assistant, is skilled in gerontological studies, data analysis, and project coordination. She supports the work of the National Collaboratory to Address Elder Mistreatment and an initiative funded by the Health Foundation of Western and Central New York to develop a community-wide effort to address elder mistreatment in Niagara County.

Before joining EDC, Froberg consulted with organizations in the areas of elder justice, tax, housing, and caregiving issues. She also worked for several years as a tax and operations manager for a CPA, specifically working with small business and older adult tax clients.

Froberg holds an MPA and Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Kentucky, as well as a BS in Chemistry and Public Health from Emory & Henry College.
