Allison LaMont, an expert in early childhood development, family support, and parenting, has extensive experience in home visiting, technical assistance (TA), and reflective practice. A passionate advocate for inclusion and equity in early childhood and family services, she supports quality implementation of programs and initiatives that help children and families reach their full potential.

LaMont leads EDC’s Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Innovation Technical Assistance Center (ITAC), which supports awardees in implementing new strategies—such as using technology tools and/or collecting data—to improve services and outcomes for children and families.

Previously, LaMont was the senior director of family-centered services at Delta Gamma Center for Children with Visual Impairments. She also served as director of expansion and implementation support at Parents as Teachers National Center, where she led, developed, and implemented projects providing TA to home visiting programs nationwide.

LaMont holds an MSW from the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and has dual BA degrees in Psychology and French. She is a licensed clinical social worker in Missouri.
