Cat Buechler, research assistant, has expertise in quantitative, qualitative, and academic research. She also has experience in data collection, analysis, visualization, and evaluation. Drawing on her analysis skills, she ensures accurate data are used to inform and advise key audiences.
Before joining EDC, Buechler taught humanities to high schoolers. Previously, at a Texas-based think tank, she focused on how to redesign career and technical education to serve all students equitably. She also worked to identify strategies to support public schools in implementing competency-based education practices to ensure the success of all students.
Buechler holds an MPA in Public Policy Analysis from The Bush School at Texas A&M University and a BA in History from Texas A&M University. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
