Catherine Williams, a sustainable development communications professional, has worked with the United Nations, nonprofits, and social impact organizations, with a focus on climate change and gender initiatives. She is experienced in content strategy and creation, public relations, and communications and project management for high-level international events.
Williams is the EDC communications specialist for the Inclusive Development and Equitable Assistance (IDEA) activity. In this role, she facilitates project communications, including social media and technology, and leads the design and implementation of the IDEA communications strategy.
Previously, Williams was a communications consultant for the Sustainable Development Solutions Network and also consulted with smaller nonprofits on their communications efforts.
Williams holds an MS in Sustainable Development from the University of London. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
