Eslam Khair, community support and engagement specialist, has over 12 years of experience in STEM education, technical support, and international community engagement. He is proficient in leading diverse teams and fostering inclusive environments, with extensive expertise and proven success in enhancing educational outreach and operational strategies.

Khair serves as the engagement and support specialist for the NASA Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) Implementation Office that EDC co-leads, and he has worked for the GLOBE program for almost 12 years.

Previously, Khair worked with the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research as the GLOBE Implementation Office liaison to several international working groups. He helped reestablish working relationships in the NENA (Near East and North Africa) region—including with Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, and United Arab Emirates—and was responsible for the onboarding process of GLOBE partners and country coordinators in six regions worldwide.

Khair has an MBA in Information Technology Management from Colorado Technical University and a BA in Law from the University of Cairo in Egypt. He is fluent in Arabic, English, and basic French.
