A Model for Reporting Elder Abuse

One in ten older adults will experience a form of mistreatment yet only a fraction of cases are reported. New research from EDC and ADvancing States published in the Journal of Elder Abuse & Neglect examines the legal, ethical, and practical barriers and facilitators to improving communication between Adult Protective Services and reporters of elder mistreatment.

“Developing a model for providing feedback to reporters of elder abuse” is an open access article authored by EDC's Kristin Lees Haggerty, Olanike Ojelabi, Randi Campetti, Athi Myint-U, along with Kathy Greenlee of ADvancing States.
