Eleanor Dong, a research associate in the Health Promotion, Practice, and Innovation Portfolio, has a strong interest in social and emotional learning (SEL); mental health; violence, bullying, and suicide prevention; sex education; media literacy; and career readiness.

Dong has worked with over 10 educational organizations, including developing programs and educational content that promote students’ social-emotional development and well-being. She has strong experience in quantitative and qualitative research and software such as SPSS. Previously, she was an after-school math and psychology teacher.

Dong holds an EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BS in Psychology Research from the University of Toronto. She is fluent in Chinese and English.
