Eleanor Dong, a research assistant in the Health Promotion, Practice, and Innovation Portfolio, has a strong interest in social-emotional development, mental health, and behavioral health. Areas of focus include social and emotional learning (SEL), suicide prevention, sex education, career readiness, and media literacy development.
Dong has experience in quantitative and qualitative research and with software such as SPSS and R for basic and intermediate data analysis. She has worked with over 10 educational organizations, including developing programs and educational content that promote students’ social-emotional development and well-being. Previously, she was an after-school math and psychology teacher.
Dong holds an EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BS in Psychology Research from the University of Toronto. She is fluent in Chinese and English.
