Deborah Rosenfeld has extensive knowledge of early childhood mathematics through her experiences teaching young children, studying teachers’ knowledge and beliefs about early childhood mathematics, and working with teachers to develop knowledge of mathematical development.

Rosenfeld joined EDC as a curriculum writer for the Think Math! elementary math program, and has since produced professional development workshops and materials and conducted research on the implementation of elementary math curricula and its impact on student outcomes. She now works as a researcher on several projects that iteratively design and test digital resources to improve the math, science, computational-thinking, and literacy skills of young children.

Rosenfeld received her AB from Harvard College, her EdM from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and her PhD from Teachers College, Columbia University.
