Michael "Mickey" Saine is an experienced communications specialist, content strategist, and social media manager. A former U.S. Navy Seabee and business consultant, he has extensive expertise in content marketing, graphic design, digital marketing, analytics, public speaking, and website development.

Saine is EDC’s communication manager for the STEM Opportunities in Prison Settings (STEM-OPS) executive committee. Drawing on his strategic communications and content marketing acumen, he works to raise awareness and inform policymaking to expand access to STEM learning and careers for justice-involved people nationwide.

As the social media manager for From Prison Cells to Professionals and the co-committee chair for Unlock Higher Education, Saines has demonstrated innovation and excellence in his development and advancement of messaging and marketing initiatives that seek to promote equity in learning opportunities and improve outcomes for justice-involved people.

Saine attained an MS in Cybersecurity with honors and a BS in History from the University of Maryland Global Campus. He also holds multiple AASs with honors in Cybersecurity Information Assurance/ Network Penetration, Network Infrastructure, and Software Development from Ivy Tech Community College.
