Ramya Kumar is a dedicated researcher in the areas of adolescent health, people living with HIV/AIDS, and early childhood education. Her work with EDC has included coordinating in-school survey administration, collecting and analyzing data, producing school and regional data reports, and providing technical assistance to school districts to maximize their data utilization at the local level.

Kumar’s current EDC projects include MetroWest Adolescent Health Survey and Regional Educational Laboratory Northeast & Islands. She has published in journals, including Molecular Brain, and has presented at national conferences, including the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and the Society for Research in Child Development Biennial Meeting.

Kumar holds a BS in Psychology from Stony Brook University.
